Test the strength of your passwords!

You think the passwords you use to log into your bank account or your favorite social network is safe enough?

Then test them with PassPass, you may be surprised to find out they're probably not!

PassPass analyses your passwords in order to detect what are their weaknesses, and displays a detailed and specific report about the following:

- the overall score obtained (less than 100? not good...)

- length (too short perhaps?)

- their complexity, either about the types of characters used (uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols / punctuation), but also the proper mix of these types

- dates detection (your family knows your birthdate, so don't use it!)

- known words detection, by using 2 dictionaries (English and French) with more than 45, 000 words (dictionary attacks can easily find a password)

- A list of commonly used passwords (to be not used!)

- detection of information located in your address book (names, nicknames, companies, etc..), information that must not be in your passwords!

PassPass also contains a password generator, as well as direct access to the Wikipedia web site to easily understand the concepts used by the application (dictionary attack, brute force, etc..).

Note: safety is the main purpose of PassPass : no information is collected or stored, the application does not geotag you, does not send statistics usage, in short, nothing goes out of your device!

Warning: PassPass works with the Latin alphabet (north and south America, western and northern Europe, south Africa, Australia, Oceania, etc..). If you want to be sure your language is based on a Latin alphabet, see the Wikipedia page about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Latin_alphabet_world_distribution.svg
